Advisory - Consulting Services

1. Core Philosophy
The advisory practice is anchored in the substance of Human Replacement Theory.

Human Replacement Theory:
Modern organizations have adopted the organizational leadership philosophy espoused by the world’s leading business schools and management consulting firms. These organizations find themselves denominated in “systems and process” and are data-driven, rules-based, and measurement-centric. There focus is on a model of “professional management” which requires a distinct focus on 1) the engineering of a product, 2) the manufacturing of that product, and the 3) periodic strategic review of the entire production-based affair. Those organizations who adopt this approach to organizational advancement are from a city called Mechanicsville. Their fundamental challenge is that this “Mechanical Model” is dehumanizing and thus organizational debilitating. The alternative to the fate of organizations in Mechanicsville is alternatively found in a city called Anthropolis. In that city, they firmly agree with the need for organizations to effectively deploy all the
mechanical systems and process. They are absolutely necessary. They do not, however, see the mandates of professional management as in any way sufficient to facilitate a successful organizational future. They rather see success in the alignment of what an organization’s truly believes about itself and the world around them. As an organization makes the internal covenants as to the contents of the Anthropic Profile, as described in Human Replacement Theory, they come together in a spirit of collaboration operating within the context of real communities. This is to conclude that the future destinies of organizations are embedded in their beliefs, and as manifest in their distinct natures.

The goal of our advisory services is to facilitate thinking across:
a) Resiliency Spectrum - Build resilient, adaptive, creative, and human-centered organizations
b) Leadership Playbook - Equip leaders with wisdom-frameworks creating insight and imagination
c) Pothole Challenge - Avoid the fates of the dehumanization of mechanical organizations

It is absolutely imperative to understand that our advisory services do not represent a quick-fix, seven-step, self-help program to a “better you.” There are thousands of books and consulting organizations that cover the spectrum of “things you must do” to improve your organization. And they all represent what are good but only very partial applications. Our advisory services are rather focused on the “things you must be,” and in a global sense, to maintain and improve your competitive positioning. It is a much more challenging proposition. But it actually does makes a fundamental difference – an existential-level difference.
